SUMMARY- All interior photographs are in color(except those that are reprints of original black-and-white photos). He covers a range of amusement parks along each coast, ignoring most of the amusement parks not in coastal states. The string of Six Flags and Busch Gardens amusement parks and Silver Dollar City are some of the most notable omissions off the top of my head. So maybe there'll be a follow-up? He did pack a lot into a 64-page book. I love, love, LOVE the inclusion of a bibliography for further reading material, and a list of places to visit. If you are curious about the history of amusement parks in the USA, this gives you a peek at many you may have only heard about, with Coney Island getting a lot of love.
