SUMMARY- All interior photographs are black-and-white - and in instances like this, I think it hurts the book. A desciption of the colors doesn't quite do it the justice it deserves. You get a history of the family that developed the ware and the company they built. You get a collection of the makers marks to be found on Wedgwood ware with a warning that isn't all of them, and where to find all of them. And of course they give you many many pictures of the wide variety of pottery and figurines produced by this 18th century factory.

I love that they always give you a list of further reading and places you can visit to help satisfy your curiosity on the subject. If I were ever able to take a real vacation, I would do it with a handful of these books in hand!
