SUMMARY- This isn't so much a pattern book as a gallery of traditional uses for scherenschnitte, with short biographies of people who made a name for themselves doing this artwork. I was suprised at the number of ways it was employed. This is an interesting read for those curious about the origins of this craft. I was quite happy to have found a copy, and when I went looking for more information, discovered it's actually difficult to find more copies. So I'm guessing it had a very small print run. If you enjoy this discipline and happen to run across a copy, grab it quick. You won't find another later.
