DR. ROBERT J. LANG
Dr. Lang proved origami has very serious real-life applications. He was part of the team that designed collapsible stents for much easier heart surgeries. His team's invention has saved thousands of lives. He also helped NASA develop a telescope that stays folded until it's in orbit, then opens up to help us see the universe better. I love his books, but I admire his contributions to science even more!
