SUMMARY: One of the wonderful advantages of this group is their publication of patterns from a worldwide selection of talented designers. They publish a book of collected designers every five years that are truly marvelous, this newsletter twice a year with even more patterns, and run a pattern-of-the-month club - though those are only available in a yearly subscription to anyone not in Britain because of prohibitive mailing costs. The newsletter is about half business of the organization, and half patterns and information on books they've added to their lending library(again, only to those who live locally) and a delightful section where members write in to tell where they've found references to tatting in literature. They maintain a calendar of events from around the world that I admire. I read the newsletter cover to cover with great interest. I only wish they kept a backstock of old issues so that I could read more!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for anyone letting go a collection of older issues, so that I may add to this page, and hopefully someone with more knowledge will correct any mistakes made in the information I've provided above.

They have a website: http://www.ringoftatters.org.uk/ .

Anyone with more information about this publication, or has issues to donate or sell, PLEASE can contact me through My Contact Page.

Notes: This was supposted to be the Autumn 2020 issue, but was a bit late(I received it in February 2021) due to delays presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. Yes, we're living history here. A correction for the pattern "Autumn" by Hannah Crowle was emailed to the membership. If you lost it, or have inherited the issue and need the correction, just email me. (It was also reprinted in the next issue for those who missed the email)
