Magazine Title: Lace Magazine, becomes International Lace Magazine Spring 1989
Editor(s): Lieve Jerger
Publication Frequency: Quarterly
Began Publication: Winter 1986
Ended Publication: 2000?
Published by: Belgian Lace School, San Pedro, CA

Magazine Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISSN: 1093-7382

NOTE: ALL COVER IMAGES THIS PAGE ARE PROPERTY OF
PUBLISHER, but are scanned from my private collection.

SUMMARY: Of the issues I've got, this magazine focused entirely on bobbin laces in the early issues - no articles on tatting and other kinds of lace making until later. Financing appeared to be a bitter struggle in the early years. I've seen Volume 56 from 2, 2000 so I know the title lasted over a decade, but issues are hard to find. I still have less than half of them, but will try hard to fill in more as I can find them. I find this title interesting for its lean towards scholarly essays on historic lace development, and even more interesting as they broadened their scope to more and different kinds of lace.
