SUMMARY: This is another independent publication, magazine sized, black-and-white and printed on the cheapest newsprint imaginable. Several of the pages were still joined along the top edge of the first issue I have - I had to carefully slice them apart in order to be able to turn the pages. The last issue I have was badly miscut at the bottom, so one article within is missing the last several lines along the bottom. Articles are a jumbled mishmash - I'm not sure what table settings and an article on geneology as a hobby has to do with dolling. It doesn't appear to have any relation to the beloved National Doll World that began publication a decade later. It feels most like the earliest issues of Aunt Jane's Sewing Circle - only the few patterns given are for dolls or doll furniture.

I bought this lot (5 issues total) out of curiosity off of e-bay. I have no idea when it actually started, though I have the impression that if the April 1967 wasn't the first issue, it was very close to the first issue. I have no idea when it ended.

Anyone with more information about this publication, or has issues to donate or sell, can contact me through My Contact Page.

Notes: ...and we're back to 16 pages. This issue was also badly miscut at the bottom. I edited the scan to cover this - but my copy has an obvious slant at the bottom with a chunk on one end - as though it had jammed in the paper cutter.

I don't know if the August 1968 issue was the last one or not. They clearly had a struggle getting issues out the door.
