SUMMARY- I ran across these quite by accident, and being an old SCAer, just couldn't resist picking up a few of them. They were a large part of the impetus to start a duct tape bib page. I hadn't realized I'd collected quite so many duct tape craft books, but this is one of my favorites. No, these are not rated for actually fighting in the SCA(rattan can leave serious bruises and break bones if you're not properly padded) - they just look cool. They'd be great for costuming. Mr. Erickson's books are FUN - at least I've had a lot of fun with them - and I think you would too.

I normally share a Table of Contents in my reviews, but there wasn't any for this book - he jumps right in to his instructions after giving you the list of basic supplies you'll need to make your gauntlets from. His instructions are well broken down and he provides a lot of photos to advance you each step through the process.
