SUMMARY- There are some great sophisticated projects in this book. Instructions are written, with not a lot of illustration to back them up - so if you don't know what you're doing, you probably want to wait on picking up this book except for inspiration. I was especially awed by the butterfly canes built by the author and his partner David Forlano. They're dazzling.

The list of contributing artists for this book is huge: Bridget Albano, Kathleen Amt, Deborah and Marah Anderson, Pierrette Brown Ashcroft, Laura Balombini, Thessaly Barnett, Mary McWillis-Brentano, Claire Laties Davis, Kathleen Dustin, Rosanne Ebner, Donna Esher, Michele Fanner, Kristin Fellows, Steven Ford, David Forlano, Ruth anne and Michael Grove, Lindly Haunani, Sarajane Helm, Tory Hughes, JoAnne Hunot, Marie Johannes, Donna Kato, Susan Kinney, Karyn Kozak, Z. Kripke, Marguerite Kuhl, Tamela Wells Laity, Sarah Lee, Liz Mack, Jaqui MacMillan, Liz Mitchell, Laura Oakes, Susanna Oroyan, Susan Perry and Bill Gundling, Carolyn Potter, Cheri Pyles, Anna riddile, Nan Roche, Terri Rubenstein, Maggie Rudy, Susan Padgitt Schwab, Sarah Shriver, Alan Slesinger, and Wilcke Smith.
