SUMMARY- I came to chain mail not as a jewelry hobby, but as an armorer, so things that a jewelry maker does for appearance sake would make me blanch as an armorer - both are right for their intended applications. Ms. Andersen gives you a great grounding in basics here with great photography throughout to support her instructions. Projects are attractive and doable for a beginner and her projects incorporate all the weaves you get tutorials in at the beginning of the book. Her writing style has matured and improved from the little booklets I had initially run across. I was pleased to add this book to my collection.
