PATTERN RATING:Star Rating Patterns that need to be enlarged are gridded. Seam allowances are marked on some of the doll pattern pieces, but not all of them. She gives you the grainline and plenty of dots and notches to help piece the pieces together. There are only two doll patterns in this book if you don't count the witch cozies. There are good photos of all the projects to show the crafter what the end results should look like.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are broken down into numbered steps and well illustrated.

SUMMARY- While there isn't a lot for the doll maker, there are a lot of wonderful projects incorporating a lot of fabric manipulation techniques. All of them are attractive and stylish, even after 15 years.
