PATTERN RATING: You get seven colorful outfits for this designer's soft sculpt doll. All patterns are collected on a pullout sheet, are extremely well marked, and look wonderful made up.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are broken down and easy to read, but don't have a lot of illustration to go with them. If you are a novice, you may have trouble.
SUMMARY- These outfits would make up pretty quickly and are colorful and engaging. They were created to fit a soft sculpture doll of Martha Nelson Thomas' design. If I ever run across her doll pattern, I intend to pick that up as well. There is a companion booklet "Easy Fashions to Sew for The Original Doll Baby" that is really superb. I originally attributed both books to Ms. Thomas, but she was not the doll clothes' designer. I think I was thinking no one would find the booklets if I didn't put them under Ms. Thomas' name - should have been more diligent! Thanks for setting me straight.
