PATTERN RATING: Star Rating. Patterns are gridded for resizing and use the a-b-c of marking for sewing. Almost all the detail is in the face, but that's pretty good. I especially liked the banana you can make to go with the monkey. The patterns are complicated, but have enough character to be worthwhile.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating. Ms. Quinn put some serious effort into her instructions, even providing photo illustrations of the steps to make each toy.

SUMMARY- I didn't get any new techniques from this book, but it wasn't out to teach new things, just to give solid instruction for the toy patterns it provides. The Table of Contents didn't provide a list of the toys, but the cover gives you a good look at many of them.
