Title: Making Your Own Toys: Everything You Need to Know to Make Beautiful Toys
Author: Pamela Peake
Publication Date: HC:1986
Publisher: Rodale Press, Emmaus, PA
Page Count: 160
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 10" x 8"
ISBN: 0878576223

PATTERN RATING:Star Rating Patterns need to be enlarged, but are gridded to help. Seam allowances are marked, and she uses the A-B-C method of marking. The grainline is also marked - a pet peeve of mine. All the animals are easily recognizable for what they are, and this may be my favorite duckling pattern.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are broken down and have good illustration to go with them.

SUMMARY- The cloth toy patterns look great, and if you're multi-discipline, the other sections of the book are equally well done. All the wood toys are painted in very bright primary colors that make them look particularly appealing.
