PATTERN RATING: Star Rating. Patterns are on small grids with few markings to aid the crafter. The animals are somewhat stylized, and often use button joints for attaching limbs. There is a French Poodle, teddy bear, golliwog, rag doll, scottie dog, sitting bunny, a mop dog, a fawn, running bunny, giraffe, another golliwog, a baby panda, a circus pony and a penguin.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating. Instructions are step-by-step and fairly easy to follow, but there are no illustrations to follow, so if you don't know what you're doing, there's little extra to help you.

SUMMARY- This is obviously an older booklet - predating 1950 - because of the inclusion of the racially offensive "golliwog" dolls that seem to be in almost all the soft toy books from this time period. The publisher did not put a copyright date with their copyright notice, however, and I haven't had time to do the research to find out exactly when this came out. The booklet sold for 30 cents when it was new, and unfortunately doesn't have any advertisements for other products to help date it.
