PATTERN RATING:Star Rating This book teetered between 2 and 3 stars. The patterns are very small and not gridded, or marked in any way. There are pictures of the toys made up, however, and they are very engaging. Most are gussetted. Even the goose has some nice wing detail, and the monkey reminds me of those old mechanical toys that bang a pair of cymbals together. The horse pattern is the exception to all this, but is still interesting in that it reminds me of a Gumby toy.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are not broken down and there is extremely little illustration to go with them.

SUMMARY- If you can successfully enlarge the patterns, they make up into some very nice looking toys, but this book isn't for a rank beginner.
