Title: The Fairytale Doll Book: Introduced by The Three Bears
Author: Valerie Janitch
Publication Date: HC:1988
Publisher: David & Charles Book, London
Page Count: 128
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 10 1/2" x 8"
ISBN: 0715391836

PATTERN RATING:Star Rating All patterns are full size and fairly well marked(no seam allowances indicated, though). Pattern pieces are overlapped on the page and are tinted blue, so it may be difficult to trace the pattern pieces, and they are close enough to the ditch that it may be difficult to get a good photocopy without damaging the spine of the book. The doll hands are the mitt type, and the feet have soles.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are well broken down into steps, but don't have much illustration to aid the sewer.

SUMMARY- The story that goes with the dolls is threaded throughout the book and quite charming. Ms. Janitch's toys are quite friendly looking and charming - well worth the price of admission.
