PATTERN RATING:Star Rating You can see from the table of contents that there are a huge variety of bears to choose from. The Costume, Koala puppet, and bear rug are my favorites. Most of the full-size patterns have seam allowances marked, and have plenty of other markings. Those that need to be enlarged are typically gridded to help you. If you want a teddy bear book that covers all the bases, this is it.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are typically laid out by body part, then broken down into steps. There's plenty of illustration, but they're all grouped together on one page with the instructions on another - probably because of space considerations. Ms. Hall managed to squeeze a huge number of patterns into 154 pages.

SUMMARY- If you only have one Teddy Bear craft book on your shelf, this ought to be it. It has EVERYTHING. I'm not kidding. Check out the Table of Contents for yourself. Ms. Hall still has my vote for best soft toy designer - ever!
