PATTERN RATING:Star Rating You get a huge variety of patterns in many different disciplines. Patterns tend to be full-size, and those that aren't are gridded.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are broken down and easy to follow. There are very few diagrams to help the crafter.

SUMMARY- Both books are exactly the same except the title. The designs in this book were originally featured in Woman's Weekly magazine, but the original publication dates were not given. The instructions have been expanded and revised to make use of the roomier format, and many of the patterns are now full-size. This is a great selection of diverse patterns that would make fun gifts - exactly as advertised. I bought Bazaar Bestsellers without seeing the cover(on-line) and was amused to discover it was the American edition of a book I already had on my shelf. Oh, well. I'm always interested in Ms. Greenhowe's books, and try to pick them up whenever opportunity/resources allow. She never disappoints.

The designer has a website: where she has original knit patterns for sale and also has some free patterns available for download.
