PATTERN RATING:Star Rating Markings ran the gamut of very good to nonexistant, depending on the pattern. Yes, weird. Many of the patterns are very engaging, though. I particularly loved the rooster.

INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Instructions are broken down by body part AND numbered steps, and have illustration to go with them. I've noted an improvement in this area since the first book of hers I found.

SUMMARY- Included with her patterns is a gallery of other artists' work that she loves that's well worth a look - and I'm not just saying that because Melinda Small Patterson's dragons happen to be featured! There's some really lovely stuff here to gawk at, along with some very charming anthropomorphic animals.
