INSTRUCTION RATING:Star Rating Ms. Ford states in the introduction that she isn't going to go over the same territory she introduced in her first booklet, so it really helps to have read (and used) it before attempting to read and use this one. She gives a lot of drawn illustrations(no pix) that are helpful and a great deal of information on styles for various periods of the baby and toddler dolls she is dressing. The large catalog of styles in the back are alone worth the price of admission.

BONUS MECHANICS RATING:Star Rating This booklet isn't as helpful without knowledge/hands on the first booklet, but has useful information that stands on its own regardless.

SUMMARY- I strongly recommend reading and experimenting with her first booklet before moving on to this one. She wasn't kidding when she stated she wasn't going to cover "old territory" in this booklet. If you are new to creating patterns from paper draping, you'll want both booklets. If you have an interest in dressing (or re-dressing antique dolls), these aren't bad little booklets to have.
