Title: Easy-to-Make Felt Bean Bag Toys Author: Jane Ethe
Publication Date: TPB:1980
Publisher: Dover Publications, Inc., New York
Page Count: 15 pages plus thin cardboard templates stapled in middle of booklet
Book Dimensions(ht. x wdth.): 11" x 8 1/2"
PATTERN RATING:. There are nine patterns for a frog, mouse, cat, small heart pillow, fish, sunbonnet girl, taxi, gingerbread man, and gingerbread house. They are all for very simple bean bag toys with very little character. The possible exceptions to this are the fish, which can have a rainbow of scales, and frog with its gussetted mouth.
INSTRUCTION RATING:. Instructions are broken down into steps and very simple - but so are the toys being made up. There are no illustrations.
SUMMARY- None of the edges are finished - just pinked to discourage frays, so the toys have a very rough look to them. The title is true - they would be very easy to make - but you'd have to come up with your own details to make them interesting.
