Publication Date: Trade:1984
Publisher: New Win Pub.

Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 12" x 9"
PATTERN RATING: . The patterns are full size, marked with numbered notches, sewing hints, and seam allowances. It doesn't get any better than that! There is good detail (clawed feet on the aardvark, clove feet for the pig, and all the equines have separate hoof details), and some surprising inclusions.
INSTRUCTION RATING:. The instructions are clear, but instead of scattering the illustrations throughout the instructions, you sometimes have to flip pages to look at the illustrations for the instructions. This is a minor detail, but distracting enough to be noted.
SUMMARY- I didn't get any new techniques for my toolbox from this book, but the patterns are so nifty it didn't matter to me. All the color photos are in the middle of the book, and with very few exceptions, quite impressive. The horse pattern is very stylish and different from any other horse patterns I've seen, and the Dodo is just cool. I was really happy to come across this book.
