PATTERN RATING: Patterns are all together on a pull-out newsprint pattern sheet in the middle of the booklet. Patterns are marked with seam allowances, cutting instructions and part - but not the names of the doll they go to! A few have the grainline marked, but most do not. There is a nice variety here, but the vary in quality. All have mitten hands and very basic shaped feet. Clothing is often part of the doll and not something a child can put on or take off, and for the doll with dresses, those are extremely simple designs.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are broken down into easy to follow numbered steps and have some illustration to back them up.
SUMMARY- The designs weren't my cup of tea, but are easy to follow and simple to make with some attractive features.
